Hi everyone!
In honor of the pizza holiday today, I thought I’d share my recent trip to Paradise Park, a new spot in Wicker Park that’s part of the famed Home Slice & Happy Camper family. My friends and I tried a bunch of different options, my favorites were the Zephy with portobello mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, and spinach-ricotta sauce (bottom left in the group pizza pic). Next, The Sammilton, with prosciutto, spinach, caramelized onion, sun-dried tomato, balsamic, goat cheese, & a cream cheese base (top left in the group pizza pic). And finally, the Da Duba, with Roma tomatoes, artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, fresh basil, and a garlic & olive oil base (first slice of pizza pic). All had different sauce bases and not-your-typical pizza toppings, which I think really sets them (and their sister restaurants) apart. I liked all three equally so I’d say if there’s one of the three that sounds more appealing to you than the other, go for it!

Ok did you think we weren’t going to try the cocktails too? Of course, we did!
I got the Trailer Park Queen to start because it has basically all my favorite things: St. Germain liqueur, champagne, lemon, etc. Not surprisingly, it was pretty dang good!
The final drink was so pretty and fun – complete with a flamingo! It was, as you can imagine, very fruity and a little sweet so I liked this one as well.
Overall, great experience here and would definitely check out if you’re in the area!
See you in the next post!
