Hi all!
The second installment of my Nashville trip is here!
First up is me in restaurant form: Le Sel. After finding this restaurant on Instagram and seeing how gorgeous it looked, I knew I had to see it in the flesh once I landed in Music City. I’m here to say it did not disappoint – and the food/drinks tasted just as good as they looked too!! I tried the Kir Royale first, basically the Christmas champagne cocktail I’ve made a few years in a row but just didn’t know it had a name. 😂 I thought they were called poinsettias (like the flower) but I guess not!

Kir Royale – made with champagne and either crème de cassis liqueur or Chambord (basically any raspberry liqueur)
Then I split these yummy fruit-filled beignets (!!) with my friend Sam and we both agreed that it was the right decision. We topped off the experience with some Croque Madames and French 75s (did you really think I would skip the opportunity? 😉) …and again both were everything I could have asked for. The Madame was so rich and cheesy while the 75 was crisp and smooth – my mouth is watering right now just thinking about them. In short, I will 100% be coming here again on my next trip to Nashville!
After walking around for a little bit, we hit the strip on Broadway again and hung out at Acme Feed and Seed – a 4 level bar owned by country crooner Alan Jackson. It was very chill and the music was pretty good, it got crowded real fast! Also, get the Hannah Montana drink, not just for the name but also because it tastes good too thanks to the OJ and champagne in it.
One of my favorites to flock to at night this time was Tin Roof – SO lively and knew basically all the songs everyone sang. It is a smaller space so just know that it can get hot in there very quickly, we had to leave after a little because of that so just fair warning!
So that’s a wrap on night two of Nashventures 2018 – stay tuned for the final night recap coming soon!!
See you in the next post!
