Hi all!
Final Nashville roundup – coming atcha! The other posts in the series are here and here if you want to catch up.
A little late on this one BUT traveling has been on my mind a lot lately so I thought why not share it now while it’s on the brain!
So, let’s get to it:
First up, a Taylor Swift favorite, we visited famous cafe Frothy Monkey for my first golden milk experience and taking some pics at the mural behind it (see below). I’ve been here once before and it’s a great local spot to check out, especially if you need to get some work done or something. It can be a little crowded on the weekends so if you go and there’s a line, just know it moves fast!

Shop the look, here.
Next, we hit up the famous doughnut shop Five Daughters Bakery – and yes, it’s as cute as it looks AND tastes good too! They have regular doughnuts, 100 layer “cronuts” (croissant-doughnuts), and even some paleo options too! I got “The Parent Trap,” a peanut butter and Oreo combo and it was delicious!!! Very flavorful and rich so you only really need one.
We then sought out to walk through 12 South – one of my favorite areas in Nashville! We hit up classic favorites that locals love like White’s Mercantile, a general store with all kinds of little knick-knacks and clothes. The famous flower truck I mentioned on night one, Amelia’s, tends to park in front of here – note for a picture opportunity! Then we rifled through a nearby vintage shop, Savant, which had cute little relics in it like this Indiana hat!
After that we ventured into a few boutiques, my two favorites being Hero, a new discovery of mine that has inventory as cute as it’s decor, and Draper James, Reese Witherspoon’s shop that I love and where I picked up my first pin to start a pins & patches jacket! New post on that coming soon!
This next one I am really excited about. Last year, I really wanted to see this famous mural, ran up to it and it had been vandalized. Seeing it restored back in its true form, I was elated!
And last but not least, we stopped at Flipside – a place I saw on our way back last year and was curious to see what it was all about this time. Worth it! We got the totchos (nachos but with tater tots) and they were amazing! We didn’t have much time so I’d love to come back for lunch or dinner next time!!
And that’s a wrap!! If you have any questions about Nashville or if there are any spots you think I should visit on my next trip, comment below!!
See you in the next post!
