Amalfi Coast
Here’s a lot of pictures to document my awesome stay in the southern coast of Italy. Not a lot of writing/notes in this one but I think the pictures will tell the tale better than I!
“Topless” Taxis
Convertible taxis that you can ride up toward the top of the mountains on the island of Capri.
View from our hotel

Anacapri, Capri
Blue Grotto
This is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to the natural way that the blue is created and was pretty but definitely overpriced. I’d say skip it personally since you are not in there very long and just take a lap around and go back. One thing I wish I would have done instead was take a ride on the ski lift that lets you see the island from above, a few of my friends did it and loved it!!
Site of Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue Shoot
Lemons & Bananas – yes they are naturally grown that big!!
La Granita – an amazing citrus slushie
This drink was so good – you can also add vodka to it if you want a little zing!
Handmade Sandals
Beyonce and other celebrities have bought some here!
‘O Parrucchiano
An amazing Gatsby-esque restaurant in Sorrento – price and quality were great, as well as the ambiance.

Spaghetti with Lemon Sauce & Clams
Fried Artichokes
House-made Gelato
Positano
Definitely the prettiest part of the coast – it’s beach is so colorful and picturesque.
La Zagara
A restaurant with a great beach view and Southern Italian style pizza & cannolo (pro tip: cannoli is plural in Italian). I liked the cannolo, but the pizza was eh – kinda felt like a tourist trap. Having now tasted Southern vs Northern food in Italy, I’d definitely say during this trip that I was kind of missing Florence food.
The Beach
Hortus Pompei
A restaurant that was so generous in giving us free crostini with our meal – so sweet! Out of all the restaurants we visited, this one was definitely the best one but still alright.
Margherita Pizza
Overall, loved visiting the coast and definitely would need to do my research on where to go again since the food was ok. However, the sights were so beautiful so I would go back for sure!
Ciao for now!
